1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of digital data products ("Products") sold by Swarm & Bee ("S&B", "we", "us") through our website at data.swarmandbee.com.

By purchasing any Product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use our Products.

2. Products

Our Products are digital datasets consisting of medical question-answer pairs in JSONL format, intended for use as training data for machine learning models. Products are delivered as downloadable ZIP files containing JSONL data files, dataset splits, and documentation.

3. License

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to:

Use the purchased dataset for training, fine-tuning, and evaluating machine learning models
Use models trained on the dataset in commercial applications
Create derivative works (trained models) from the dataset

You may not:

Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the raw dataset to third parties
Share purchased data files publicly or with unlicensed parties
Claim authorship of the dataset itself
Use the dataset to build a competing data product

Enterprise licenses permit use by up to 10 individuals within a single organization.

4. Intended Use & Disclaimer

Our datasets are intended for machine learning research and model training purposes. The medical content within the datasets is not intended as clinical advice, diagnostic guidance, or treatment recommendations.

Important: While every pair in our platinum datasets has been verified through our Chain-of-Verification pipeline, no dataset is guaranteed to be 100% error-free. Users are responsible for validating outputs of any models trained on our data before deploying in clinical or healthcare settings.

S&B is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical advice. Our products are data assets for AI/ML development.

5. Payments & Delivery

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Upon successful payment, your download begins automatically. Downloads are available immediately after purchase.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our Products, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued after download. We offer the Platinum Sample Pack ($4.99) specifically so buyers can evaluate data quality before committing to larger purchases.

7. Subscriptions

Enterprise subscriptions are billed annually. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to all data received during your subscription.

8. Intellectual Property

The dataset structure, verification methodology, and curation pipeline are proprietary to Swarm & Bee. The medical knowledge contained within the QA pairs represents publicly available medical information organized and verified through our proprietary process.

9. Limitation of Liability

S&B provides Products "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. In no event shall S&B be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Products, including but not limited to damages arising from models trained on our data.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific Product giving rise to the claim.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our Products after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
